Meeting of the MCR2030 Regional Coordinating Committee (by invitation)

This session will gather stakeholders and representatives from various organizations involved in resilience building. The meeting will open with remarks from Special Representative of the Secretary-General Kamal Kishore, setting the tone for collaborative discussions.

Participants will receive updates on the ongoing thematic semesters, focusing on critical topics such as resilience financing and the European Resilience Partnership, presented by ICLEI. Additionally, the UNDRR will share insights from the second report of Flames of Change, which addresses the challenges of extreme heat and its implications for communities. A "Tour de Table" will provide an opportunity for partners to share their own updates, fostering an environment of shared knowledge and collaboration. 

The meeting will conclude with a wrap-up of discussions and outline the next steps for continued engagement.
