The closing ceremony of the 2024 Europe and Central Asia Regional Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction will be led by representatives from the host country, Montenegro, alongside members of the Secretariat and UN agencies. The ceremony will highlight key outcomes and reflect on the substantial discussions that took place, showcasing shared commitments and innovative strategies to reduce disaster risks. Concluding the event, speakers will reaffirm a unified dedication to fostering a more resilient and safer region, underscoring the importance of continued collaboration and decisive action for a sustainable future across Europe and Central Asia.
